Informatik
- Duration: 3 years, 6 semesters, 180 ECTS
- Location: TU Wien, Vienna
- Language: German – the programme is not offered entirely in English

Admission: through an admission procedure (Aufnahmeverfahren) shared with Technische Informatik and Wirtschaftsinformatik. Prior programming knowledge is not tested. The ranking test has three parts: a subject part based on set reading (chapters of the book „Abenteuer Informatik“, multiple choice), reading comprehension in German and English, and cognitive abilities. The 2026 admission test (Reihungstest) took place on 13 July, in person in Vienna. If you want to start in October 2027, you register for the admission procedure in spring 2027 (in 2026 the window was 1 April – 4 May), and the test is around July 2027; TU Wien has not yet published the exact 2027 dates.
