Terms and conditions
The terms under which Akademichen Hub provides advice on applying to universities abroad.
Last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Who provides the service
The services of Akademichen Hub are provided by ДИП ДИАНА 2009 ЕООД, company id (ЕИК) 200785859, registered seat and management address ul. Haydushka gora 2, 1612 Sofia, entered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register kept by the Registry Agency. Email: info@akademichenhub.com, phone: +43 660 8994700. The company is not registered for VAT (ЗДДС). Below we are "we" or "the adviser". You are "the client".
These terms govern contracts for advisory services concluded at a distance through the site, by email or by phone. For consumers within the meaning of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act (ЗЗП) its mandatory provisions apply as well.
2. What the service includes
We advise pupils and students applying to universities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and the United Kingdom. Depending on the package this covers choosing suitable programmes, checking requirements and deadlines, preparing the documents together (forms and application portals; CV and motivation letter as add-ons where booked), submitting through the application portals and communicating with the universities. The exact scope is set out in the quote for each client and on the pricing page.
Not included: fees charged by universities and UCAS, official translations and legalisations, language exams, rent, deposits and insurance. Such costs are borne by the client.
3. How the contract is concluded
- The client sends an enquiry through the site, by email, by phone or via WhatsApp.
- We send a quote with the scope and the final price. The quote is valid for 14 days.
- The contract is concluded when the client confirms the quote in writing (email or message) or pays the first instalment.
- If the client is a minor, the contract is concluded by a parent or guardian.
4. Prices and payment
The prices in the price list are final prices in euro. The company is not registered for VAT (ЗДДС). Amounts shown in the price calculator are indicative; the binding price for your case is the one in the quote. The price in the quote does not change once confirmed, unless the client asks for additional services.
Payment is made in two parts: half on accepting the quote, the rest when the applications are submitted. Payment is by bank transfer or Revolut. We issue an invoice for every payment. If a payment is late, we may pause the work until it arrives.
5. The client's obligations
- To provide true and complete information and authentic documents. The client is responsible for their accuracy.
- To keep the deadlines we agree and to answer our questions in time, since universities do not extend their deadlines.
- To submit personally, following our instructions, any documents that require a personal signature or a personal account where the portal does not allow submission by a third party.
6. What we cannot promise
Admission is decided solely by the university concerned. We do not guarantee admission, a scholarship, a visa or a place in a hall of residence. We owe careful, professional work, not a result. Information on the site about universities, fees and deadlines is compiled with care but may change; the universities' own publications prevail.
7. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer under the ЗЗП, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason (Art. 50 ЗЗП). To do so, send an unambiguous statement to info@akademichenhub.com; you may also use the model withdrawal form in Annex 6 to the ЗЗП.
If you expressly ask us to start work before the 14 days have passed and then withdraw, you owe a proportionate part of the price for the work done up to that point (Art. 55(5) ЗЗП). If the service has been fully performed within that period with your express consent, the right of withdrawal lapses (Art. 57(1) ЗЗП). We refund what you have paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment.
Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

8. Termination
Either party may terminate the contract by written notice if the other party materially breaches its obligations and does not remedy the breach within 7 days of being asked. On termination the client pays for the work done up to that point.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. In all other cases our liability is limited to the price paid under the contract. This limit does not apply to injury to life or health or to liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for the universities' decisions, for errors in documents supplied by the client, or for delays caused by the client or by third parties.
10. Copyright and confidentiality
Texts we prepare together with the client (motivation letters, CVs) become the client's property on payment. The material on the site is ours and may not be copied for commercial purposes without permission. We keep confidential everything we learn about the client in connection with the contract. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
11. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied, write to info@akademichenhub.com; we reply within 14 days. The supervisory authority for consumer protection is the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection, 4A Slaveykov Square, 1000 Sofia, www.kzp.bg. Consumers may also turn to the General Conciliation Commission at the CPC for out-of-court resolution; the list of alternative dispute resolution bodies is published at www.kzp.bg. We take part in such a procedure when the consumer requests it.
12. Governing law and final provisions
Bulgarian law applies. For consumers resident in other EU member states, the mandatory protective provisions of their state of residence remain in force. Disputes are decided by the competent Bulgarian court; for consumers the jurisdiction rules of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 apply. The contract is concluded in Bulgarian or English. If any clause is invalid, the others remain in force. We may change these terms for future contracts; for contracts already concluded, the version in force on the date of conclusion applies, which we provide when you confirm the quote.
