Cookie policy
Which cookies this site uses, what they are for, and how you manage your consent.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others serve statistics or marketing, and for those we ask your consent under Art. 4a of the Bulgarian Electronic Commerce Act and the GDPR.
What we currently use
- Necessary. The site is static and has no login. It uses only what it needs to work: the `cc_cookie` cookie, which stores your cookie choice (up to 6 months), and, if you use the shortlist, the entries `ah.selection` and `ah.lastSubject` in your browser's local storage, which hold the universities and subjects you picked until you remove them or clear your browser data. These do not require consent, because they are needed for what you use.
- Analytics (consent only). Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only if you allow analytics in the banner. Google Analytics sets the `_ga` and `_ga_*` cookies (up to 2 years); Clarity sets `_clck`, `_clsk`, `CLID` and `MUID` (up to 1 year). With the same consent the entry `ah.attribution` in your browser's session storage remembers the page on which you arrived, the site that linked to us (only its domain) and the campaign link or ad click that brought you; it is deleted when you close the tab and sent to us only with an enquiry.
- Marketing (consent only). We do not use any advertising tools at the moment. If we add one later (for example Meta Pixel or Google Ads), it goes into this category and loads only after consent.
How you decide
Whenever the site runs tools that need consent, your first visit shows a banner with equal "Accept" and "Reject" buttons and a link to detailed settings. Until you choose, nothing in the "analytics" or "marketing" categories loads. You can change your decision at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored in a cookie together with the policy version and the date, so we do not ask again on every visit.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop some features from working.
External services that load on your action
Booking a call (Cal.com) and the WhatsApp link load only when you click them. Until then no contact with those providers takes place.
